ONI, the Lindlar-based energy optimization company, is currently discovering just how much joy subsidiaries can bring. For years now, ONI Temperiertechnik Rhytemper, headquartered in Großröhrsdorf, Saxony, has been growing very successfully, but the latest figures are nothing short of breathtaking. Currently, the ONI subsidiary is reporting a roughly 60 percent increase in order intake compared to the same period last year. Consequently, the positive revenue trend is inevitable. While revenue in 2015 was still around five million euros, the ONI subsidiary expects a revenue volume of 7.5 to 8 million euros for 2017. “A great success and a testament to a highly motivated workforce,” says ONI CEO Wolfgang Oehm, lavishing praise on the employees. The continuous growth and the resulting increase in staff numbers made a move to new business premises absolutely necessary. The facilities, which had been occupied only a few years ago, were literally bursting at the seams. Employees, along with many guests from the worlds of politics and business, celebrated the inauguration of the new business premises in Großröhrsdorf. A fantastic entertainment program featuring well-known artists provided the backdrop for the inauguration celebration. ONI Temperiertechnik Rhytemper in Großröhrsdorf manufactures innovative products and system solutions used in the field of mold temperature control for plastic and metal casting machines. The products are valued by a growing customer base around the world. The significant improvement in the company’s operating results was reflected in a steady improvement in the credit rating index to 127.
"This excellent credit rating index reflects, to a certain extent, the strength, reliability, and consistency of our company’s performance and consequently provides our partners with the highest level of security in multiple respects," said Wolfgang Oehm. It is no coincidence that the company was also nominated for what is arguably Germany’s most prestigious business award, the "Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses," by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. Nearly 5,000 companies from all over Germany were nominated for this business award. “We were one of very few companies to make it onto the proverbial ‘podium’ right off the bat and were honored as a ‘finalist’ during our very first participation. We were, of course, very pleased about this and viewed the award as a great honor,” said Oehm.
The business in Großröhrsdorf is now managed by Falk Liebsch, who succeeds Dietmar Hofmann, who is retiring. However, Hofmann will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity. The move into the new business premises was celebrated together with employees and many guests from the worlds of politics and business during an inauguration ceremony. The guest list from the political sphere ranged from representatives of the State Ministry of Saxony to the mayor of Großröhrsdorf, and many guests from ONI’s client base also took the opportunity to visit and tour the new business premises. The performers’ acts, ranging from strength acrobatics to high-speed unicycle artistry, generated great enthusiasm among the guests and created an exuberant atmosphere in the marquee.
The ONI founder expressed special thanks to the municipal administration and economic development office of Großröhrsdorf, whose support was “exactly what a medium-sized company could hope for.” For this reason, the company had sought a property exclusively within the city for its expansion and ultimately found one. The new facilities offer ideal conditions for the continued successful growth expected in the future. With currently more than 1,600 square meters of production and office space, the property’s more than 10,000 square meters provide ample room for future expansion at the site.
