Combined heat and power plant for the generation of electrical and thermal energy

ONI-Wärmetrafo GmbH, as a system supplier, offers you a wide range of services from a single source. This includes the integration of an existing CHP plant or the planning of a new one. We have already completed numerous projects involving combined heat and power plants and would be happy to present you with a system solution tailored to your needs and based on our experience.

Combined Heat and Power Plant with Absorption Chiller

By utilizing a so-called combined heat, power, and cooling (CHPC) system, the efficiency of a combined heat and power (CHP) plant increases significantly.
Here, an absorption chiller converts the thermal energy generated by the CHP plant into cooling and uses it for process cooling. This ensures that the heat generated by the CHP unit always has a destination, even during warm summer months, and that continuous electrical power is generated using the CHP unit.

Containerized Combined Heat and Power Plant as a Modular System

The use of a CHP plant in combination with a container offers many advantages as a modular system. On the one hand, the system is flexible and not tied to a specific location; on the other hand, it can be optimally positioned with regard to noise protection measures.
There is also the option of combining this system with additional power stages for future expansions, allowing for further upgrades.
Furthermore, the modular container design offers the advantage that the system can be delivered as a ready-to-use plug-and-play unit, thereby minimizing plant downtime required for integration.

Combined heat and power plant combined with central heating

Because of its high temperature, the thermal energy generated can be optimally utilized by integrating it into the existing heating system.
It is also possible to feed it into the distribution manifolds of industrial floor heating systems, ensuring efficient heat recovery.
