Temperature control and refrigeration technology are constantly being optimized

Oni improves the energy efficiency of temperature control, refrigeration, and HVAC systems. New requirements and regulations—such as those related to ensuring hygiene in cooling tower systems, the use of refrigerants with long-term potential, or the increased use of composite materials—are currently driving significant change.

In addition, users are particularly interested in topics such as "continuous efficiency improvement" in terms of energy consumption and process flow, as well as "enhancing process and production reliability." At its booth, ONI will showcase relevant new developments:

  • Water quality without chemicals
  • High-temperature oil temperature control technology
  • Refrigerants with a future
  • Efficient refrigeration technology
  • Ventilation systems

In addition, ONI is demonstrating its dynamic-adaptive Rhytemper temperature control system in various practical applications to improve quality, save energy, and reduce cycle times by approximately 20 to 30%, as well as an advanced remote monitoring software that ensures increased operational reliability.

Eta Control as an energy limiter

Another new development concerns EtaControl technology, which enables a further reduction in energy consumption of approximately 33% on injection molding machines. Reducing electricity consumption remains a high priority for plastics processors. Eta Control has now succeeded in further developing this technology with the Etasave module, which enables the recovery of saved energy potential during the control phase. This further improves the potential for savings.
