Amid thunderous applause, the managing partner of the Niederhabbach-based company “ONI-Wärmetrafo GmbH” presented a check for 11,000 euros to the Red-Whites on Tuesday evening. With beaming smiles, the SVF board—comprising Stephan Menzel, Anna-Lena Kramer, Ulrike Kolb, and Rolf Müller—accepted the generous donation at the Scheelbachhalle. Visitors also came from the Oberberg district administration. District Administrator Jochen Hagt praised the club, noting how remarkable it is what the club achieves for Frielingsdorf and the surrounding area through its strong sense of community. The Frielingsdorf Sports Club’s thank-you to Wolfgang Oehm took on a carnival-like tone: with the “Tanzküken,” “Mäusen,” and “Hasen,” the SVF dance group—featuring members of all ages—brought energy to the hall. Not least, the “Dancing Daddys” provided colorful photos with the donor and the recipients.
