The K trade fair went much better for us than expected. After 8 days of the fair, we recorded nearly the same number of trade fair contacts compared to the 2016 K trade fair. The number of visitors, however, has increased significantly. Specifically, more interested professionals per company visited us than in 2016. It is encouraging that, despite a noticeable slowdown, particularly in the automotive and packaging sectors, the number of project inquiries regarding energy and process optimization has actually increased. One possible reason for this is the funding made available by the federal government for energy optimization measures and our service in helping our customers and prospects access these funding sources in connection with project development. In addition, there is also growing demand for energy-saving systems that pay for themselves in a short time and consequently lead to significant CO2 reductions within the company.
