A Life Dedicated to ONI

Wolfgang Oehm, head of the Lindlar-based energy optimization company, received the Oskar Patzelt Foundation’s highest honor

The Lindlar-based energy optimization company ONI is once again making headlines—in two ways. A few days ago, the awards gala for the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses” competition took place in Würzburg, attended by approximately 500 invited guests. At this event, companies from among the state-level competition winners were honored for having distinguished themselves at the national level through outstanding business achievements. In addition, ONI CEO Wolfgang Oehm was recognized for his lifetime entrepreneurial achievements. All 500 guests spontaneously rose from their seats and gave a long, heartfelt round of applause as “Mr. ONI” accepted the award from the hands of the board members of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation, Petra Tröger and Dr. Helfried Schmidt.

Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. In his laudatory speech, Dr. Helfried Schmidt highlighted the company leader’s successful track record and his outstanding social commitment. Many prominent business leaders congratulated the honoree after the award ceremony. Once again, Wolfgang Oehm was recognized for his outstanding entrepreneurial achievements—building a three-person operation into a large medium-sized company—as well as for his social commitment within the company and his involvement in numerous social projects in Germany.
