Lindlar - ONI subsidiary in Saxony grows steadily, significantly increases sales and moves into new premises in Großröhrsdorf.
The Lindlar-based energy optimizer ONI is also currently experiencing that daughters can give great pleasure. ONI Temperiertechnik Rhytemper, headquartered in Großröhrsdorf, Saxony, has been developing very successfully for years, but the latest figures are breathtaking. The ONI subsidiary is currently recording a 60 percent increase in new orders compared with the same period last year. The positive sales trend is inevitable. While sales in 2015 were still around five million euros, the ONI subsidiary is expected to generate sales of 7.5 to 8 million euros in 2017. "A great success and an expression of a highly motivated workforce," says ONI CEO Wolfgang Oehm, not saving praise for the employees. Continuous growth and the resulting increase in the number of employees made it imperative to move to new premises. The new premises, which were only occupied a few years ago, were literally bursting at the seams. Employees and many guests from politics and business celebrated the inauguration of the new business premises in Großröhrsdorf. A great show program with well-known artists formed the framework for the inauguration celebration. ONI Temperiertechnik Rhytemper in Großröhrsdorf manufactures innovative products and system solutions that are used in the field of tool temperature control for plastic and metal casting machines. The products are appreciated by a growing clientele all over the world. The significant improvement in the Company's operating result was reflected in a steady improvement in the credit rating index to 127.
"This excellent credit rating index reflects to a certain extent the performance, reliability and continuity of our corporate performance and consequently means maximum security for our partners in several directions," says Wolfgang Oehm. It is no coincidence that the Oskar Patzelt Foundation nominated us for what is probably the most important German business award in the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" competition. Nearly 5,000 enterprises from completely Germany were nominated for this entrepreneur price. "We were one of very few companies to make it onto the proverbial "podium" right from the start and were already honored as a "finalist" at our first participation. Of course, we were very pleased about this and found the award to be a knightly accolade," said Oehm.
The business in Großröhrsdorf is now managed by Falk Liebsch, who succeeds Dietmar Hofmann, who is retiring. However, the latter is still available to the company in an advisory capacity. The move into the new business premises was celebrated together with the employees and many guests from politics and business at an inauguration ceremony. From representatives from the state ministry in Saxony to the mayor of Großröhrsdorf, the guest list ranged from the political sector and many guests from ONI's clientele also took the opportunity to visit and view the new business premises. The performances of the artists, ranging from power acrobatics to fast-paced unicycle artistry, caused great enthusiasm among the guests and an exuberant atmosphere in the marquee.
The ONI founder also thanked the Großröhrsdorf city council and economic development agency, whose support was "as a medium-sized company could only wish for". For this reason, a property was sought and ultimately found exclusively in the city for the expansion of the company. The new premises offer ideal conditions for further successful growth. With currently more than 1,600 square meters of production and office space, the site with more than 10,000 square meters offers ample space for expansion at the location.
