"We seem to have hit the bull's eye with our new developments," said Wolfgang Oehm, managing partner of ONI-Wärmetrafo, briefly and concisely commenting on the large number of visitors to the exhibition booth in Friedrichshafen.
At times, due to the high number of visitors, hardly anything went forward at the Oni stand, despite more than 100 seats and a whole number of consultation zones. According to the company, the number of visitors on the first day of the fair was already much higher than last year. Wolfgang Oehm and his colleagues see the reasons for this in the new developments in the areas of energy saving and process optimization presented for the first time at FAKUMA, including the system solutions Powersave pa.pe. and AquaClean Duo. This is understandable when one considers that the Powersave technology, for example, can be used to reduce the electricity costs for the pumps in the cooling circuit of idle free coolers by 35 to 65 percent. It is also possible to apply for subsidies for this energy-saving technology in the form of grants.
The topic of water treatment without the use of biocides with the AquaClean system and the further developed AquaClean Duo system module for two system circuits has met with great interest. The topic of improving water quality in the cooling circuits, especially in the tool circuit, has high priority. The number of concrete project enquiries proves this.
In addition, a large number of experts informed themselves about the advantages of the temperature control systems of the Rhytemper subsidiary shown on four injection moulding machines. Judging by the high number of visitors, the topics of energy efficiency improvement and process optimization still have high priority in the companies, also due to ISO 50001 and EN 16247. In addition, there are questions resulting, for example, from the 42nd BImSchV (Federal Emission Control Ordinance) or with regard to funding options for energy-saving measures as well as sustainable refrigerants and highly efficient refrigeration technology.
Wolfgang Oehm's summary of the trade fair appearance in Friedrichshafen: "We expect very good post-fair business from the extremely high level of visitor interest, the many concrete project approaches and enquiries about on-site consulting appointments.
